Hi, I am new to the TomTom and recently started using the TT 930T
Question is I do alot of driving and spotted 2 camera's on a 50Mph stretch of roadworks, which didn't show up on my TT (I do have the latest camera's installed)
I pressed the correct button on my TT and told the system it was a fixed camera on my side of the road, but now my TT has this is there a way I can extract this info to upload to this site, or is it a manual process of finding the coordinates, and if so which is the best way of doing this please.
Many thanks

Sorry I should have explained better, I have set TT up so a short cut button on screen takes me to the report camera menu on TT, so yes it is the report a camera feature.

I don't know how TT stores the data on the Device, or if it's possible to extract the info, as the TT cameras don't display in Browse Map.
Sorry. _________________ Richard

It's too late to help on this occasion, but you could change the shortcut button to "Add favourite" which would leave a star on the map where you hit the button. I think you have to put some extra info in but just a few random letters (or the speed limit etc) would be enough to mark the place.
You could then browse the map later to get the co-ordinates to add cameras to the database from this site. _________________ Gerry

I submit cameras, singly, on the Submissions Page.
The Link is at the Top Left of every Web Page on the site. _________________ Richard

I think that GNR means how do we capture the location, rather than how do we submit a camera.
I use a program called GPS Dash, which has a 'one touch' co-ordinate logging facility. You can add details, but don't have to, just remember what was there. But as there aren't many cameras in my neck of the woods, I don't have too much trouble remembering.
PS GNR the word cameras is a plural of camera and does not need an apostrophe before the 's'. I've got a thing about incorrect use of them, but am prepared to stfu about it |

Thanks very much for the replies, yes I was more interested in how we capture this information, as it is not always possible to start entering information whilst driving, a speedy solution would be more practical.

I don't much care for people who go through life correcting other people’s shortcomings, I would like to say some people do have skills in certain areas such as correct use of grammar, spelling etc and I am in no way an expert as you have seen. If I went through life correcting other peoples mistakes I would make several of my own, as I would be so interested in spotting other peoples errors I would make plenty myself.
However on this occasion I will break the habit of a lifetime and show a mistake I spotted on this web site.

Really is the correct spelling you will find, not Realy see none of us are perfect M8TJT Life is far too short!

My apologies. It was meant light hearted but obviously didn't come across as such. Not even when I re-read it.
Apologies again. Now I'll stfu |
