Does anyone know what this is about? I have contacted the seller and he says in response to my question." What make is the software??".. "It is not software, it is just digital maps. If you want to get software, you can download a free version"

It sounds very odd, as generic OS data isn't available, and those products that include OS data have to go through all manner of licensing hoops.
It also sounds very cheap for full OS map coverage; full UK 1:50000 Memory Map 2004 OS is not found for less than £150.
I'd contact the seller again, and ask which 'free' software works with these maps.

Thanks for the previous reply which has left me confused! What form are the maps supplied in and if on CD how many?Which free software works with the maps ?

Reply as Follows :hi dave. apologies. the maps are on a single dvd. they work with various software. a free version of memory map is included on the dvd or can be downloaded from the MM website... A further question reveiled that it was on DvdR so I suspect it was a copy ! Is there ever anything cheap worth having on Ebay??
