I have a TomTom520T. New user as you will probablt guess.
I have a problem with the alerts for safety cameras. I don't get any sounds when passing a camera. Anyone know how to enable the sounds?
Please help I have spend hours going through menus but with no sucess. |

Hi and welcome.
Here is a list of TomTom FAQS. I would start with #1.
#4 and #5 should cover if you are using the PGPSW Speed Camera database. If you are using the PGPSW Speed Camera database you might want to read #13 too.
#7 if you are using TomToms Speed Camera database. |

Which cameras are you using?
The TomTom preinstalled ones are "activated" via page three of the menus, Tom Tom Services, then TomTom Safety Cameras, then Enable Alerts.
If you are using the PocketGPSWorld cameras, this is done by Change Preferences, Manage POIs ..... etc, etc (more details on our FAQ page, see below).
As a new user, may I recommend you to go to our FAQ page. There's lots of info there and the very first one is top priority - do a backup using Windows Explorer BEFORE you do anything else.
Finally, if you are using the TomTom cameras, I strongly urge you to read this article.
