TomTom new maps flagged up today

I have a month old 720T, and see today that new UK map (amongst others) is available; UK update is £30 odd quid.

Don't customers get free updates for a certain period after purchase

You get 28 days from date of purchase for the map offer, it is only intended to ensure the map at the time of purchase is the latest and 28 days is more than enough for a user to connect the device to the PC and internet to get the latest map for free where applicable.
If you have purchased the device within the last 28 days contact customer support, otherwise you can either pay more money or make do with the maps installed which should at the very least be version 715 - Mike
