Hi all, I have a TT710, with version 7.162 software.

I previously had the UK speedzoned cameras with the ogg file voices loaded, with no problems.
Have now been trying to load the Euro speedzoned files , and am unable to edit some of them (for warning distance etc) and unable to get some of them to recognise the .ogg files (all names etc are correct).

With these and a few other files I have 79 poi files - am I over the limit ? (I can't find it defined anywhere Confused )

If so - can I create 2 cards - 1 UK and 1 Euro, and just swap them when I go abroad ?

thks
Jim

You should be able to use 100 POI categories on your software version. It was increased on the next one after yours (v7.210 to around 190 for some models but according to TomTom to 300 for the x20 models (unproven as yet))

That figure DOES include TomTom's own camera files which were supplied already on the unit, and also any POI corrections which were made by mapshare.
To get the real number you have, you need to look in your map folder with Windows Explorer and COUNT the number of ov2 files you have.

Report back with how many and we'll go from there...

Ahh...thanks Andy.

130, including all the TT ones......

Also have a list of 51 ".VER" files with names mirroring the TT POI files.

Can I just delete the TT POI from the map folder or is it not as simple as that ?

You certainly can, or you can use Home to remove them if you prefer ("remove items from my device")
