How create address finding and routing map?

Dear all,
i am a student at phnom penh, Cambodia, i have been using NUVI 660. In this device has the default map is Australia map with address finding and routing. for me i want to create the map with img file to upload to my NUVI 660 that that map has address finding like street name finding,house number, others and auto routing.
please if you can, tell me how to create it. which software can i create that.

There are a number of places you should look at to get you started.

The first one is here which is one of the tools you would need. The site has links to other sites that will be of use to you. Note this is a non-trivial excercise!!

The other site is this one which has a specifically eastern flavour to it. Once again you will find links to other useful sites. It also has some public domain Garmin maps (mostly Singapore/Malaysia).
