Need Help on Hi 203E with don't seem work

Hi,
I have a Hicom 203E GPS Mouse with a Toshiba E330 and TomTom 2.
It work fine but i have had the same problem with damage presented by Daves :
Around each of the four screws that hold the Haicom 203E together, the outer plastic moulded case has started to fracture as if the screws have been over tightened, and with heat the case has expanded slightly and caused the case to fracture around the screw holes.

Because it was not yet on Warranty ,I have tried to put just little glue on the plastic and i have loosen the screws.

After that i try again my GPS and i habe no more red lighy and it seems stop. No acquisition between PDA and GPS.

I don't see the light blinking. The red light do not come on. All i get is a message saying GPS unreliable.

So :
1) is there any fuses and where are there? What kind of fuses ?
2) how can i check the power on the mouse connector : schema?
3) i have try to open the plastic box by removing the four screw but it don't comes easily , so i have stoped. Is there a other screw under the sticker Hicom 203E? How i can open it?

Do you have other idea?
