I downloaded various POIs for WiFi hot spots (amongst other things) and was amused on my next drive to be alerted about the fact that I was approaching a Starbucks.

I like my coffee, but I really didn't think that it warranted such emergency measures.

A little thought and investigation led me to the discovery that my POI Loader (for Garmin Streetpilot i3) was reading the 'mobile' part of the .csv filename and presuming that this was a POI file for Mobile speed cameras. Having no speeds mentioned, it naturally alerted as I was crawling through rush hour traffic. Maybe I was in need of coffee, but that's not quite the point.

Several other considerations come to mind to take advantage of this "free" advertising:
- Should I setup a chain of restaurants called 'gatsonomy' ?
- .. or an opticians called 'specsav...' (too late)
- Should we setup POIs to warn of redlight districts ?

Dunno, are you any good at cooking? My version would be "Gatso-enteritis"!

I’d have to rely on Traffic,

My own cooking isn’t so much Cordon Bleu as Cordoned Off. Mr. Green
