contacting tomtom

Can anyone please help me. I have connected a friends tomtomv3 to my account as he doesnt have a computer and now it wont recognise my 720.Does anyone know tomtom uk phone number or have any suggestions.Thank-you.Mark.

Every TomTom you connect to TomTom HOME needs a seperate e-mail address, as a last resort, regester your TomTom with a different e-mail address, but I don't know why your account has been moved to your friends TomTom, if you get it sorted, get a different e-mail, for your friend.

I connected my mates TomTom to my PC... I was given three options

1. Create an account
2. Link this TomTom to your account
3. Carry on without registering (no map updates can be done)

So I chose option 3 as all I wanted to do was update software, and stupid HOME registered it on my account anyway Evil or Very Mad

Then I found you cant change it back as you can only change your device once every 6 months Mad

TomTom's advice I must have ticked the wrong box and all I can do is create another account with a different email address Rolling Eyes

So I wouldnt bother contacting them as they wont help Mad
