|
|
Hi,
I did have a TomTom 520 on order but have now cancelled this because of the new x30 series coming out soon. However, I also have a Brodit passive mount for a 520 on order that I am unable to cancel. Does anyone know whether the mountings for the x20 and x30 series are the same and therefore the mount (for the 520) will be suitable for one of the new x30 models please?
Thanks. |

Welcome to the forum, from what I have seen they are the same so it should fit, being the passive mount you stand a great chance of this - Mike |

|
|
I asked the company who produce the Carcomm mount for the 720 and they have sent me the following reply so it would seem that the 730 will not fit into the 720 unit.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
We had a test fitting of this device at the CeBIT but this wasn’t a production model.
There doesn’t seem to be any big fitting problems and once this device hits the market
an active cradle will be available in about 4 weeks normally. The current x20 cradles didn’t fit
well with the x30 series, the USB connector was moved slightly.
I hope this answered your question.

Hope this may assist you. |
