Hi everyone, firstly I am not too well up on installing the camera's.
however, last night found this site and followed the instructions for my TomTom 910. copied the camera files to the european folder as it said re the instructions, this was both sets of files the bitmap and ov2 files.
I then disconnected the sat nav as suggested to then set up the warnings.

Now here is where the problem is if I go to my TomTom via my pc and explore, go to the europe folder all the files are there, but when I switch on the satnav, go to settings then manage poi's the pocketgps camera's are not there in the list??? I know that they are installed because I checked and double checked the folder, then deleted and reinstalled them. but to no avail, I still can't see them in the poi list, can anyone shed some light on what the problem may be. please...

Also if I look in TomTom Home 2.2 and go to the section where you can see what's installed on your go 910 the files are in the list.I can also delete them from here too, I just cannot understand why they cannot be seen in the poi manager list on the satnav itself.

I hope I have explained it so you can understand what I mean.

Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers

Bud

The first thing to look at is to check how many OV2 Files you have in the Map Folder.

Doing this, using Explorer, is probably easier.

Next, which version software are you using?

There is a limit as to how many OV2 Files the software can handle, and it varies with different versions.

Hi oldboy,

Thanks for replying so quickly m8.

The map version according to my 910 is v660 1219.

I have probably got too many poi in the map folder if I am honest as I have downloaded a load lately through the tomtom home programme.
I am going to delete a few see if that helps, will get back to you and let you know. once again thanks for the reply much appreciated.

It is the Application Version that is more important, in this context. Version 7.162 allows for a lot more.

It used to be 100 POI categories for all models, but it's now a bit variable.
I have a bookmark of a post from someone not too far away(Wink ) who says it is 169 on a Go910.

So with 231-50 you might still be missing a few of your other ones! Very Happy

Cheers for the reply andy,

I deleted 50 then saw some of the camera's I then edited the one's I could see re the spoken alerts.
I then continues to delete more poi's until all the camera's where there.
it is now set up correctly.

I can now see
gatso camera's
specs camera's
mobile camera's
red light camera's
temporary camera's in my poi list.
I think that is the lot.

Once again thank you to everyone for your help and also for the speed at which you replied.
Cheers
