Updated "Home" the other day and since then it will not run!
Everytime "Homerunner.exe" tries to load on startup i get:
"The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000034). Click on OK to terminate the application".
Trying to run "TomTomHome.exe" also comes up with the same Windows message.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled a couple of times.
Tried installing and running old version 1.5(or something like that) and that seemed to work ok.
Anyone with any ideas? |

Uninstall the TomTom Home package from the PC then download a fresh copy from Here and install that to the PC, see if this sorts out your problem - Mike |

TomTom Home v2 uses a Firefox (Mozilla) style directory within "Documents & Settings/YourUsername/Application Data/TomTom...". I'm not sure of the exact name as I nuked my Home install yesterday.
Note that TomTom by default keeps backup data in there.
Try uninstalling Home, delete any residual "Program Files/TomTom" directory, move the "application data/tomtom" directory somewhere safe as a backup, then re-installing Home. |
