New Maps Vs Navigator Update

Hi All,

I have been using TTN 5 for a few years now as part of the iPaq rz1710 Navigator pack, and unfortunately the maps are so old I think that some of the continents have moved ;)

I was looking at getting updated maps for TTN5, but for not a lot more money I could upgrade to TT6 which would (should) come with the latest GB maps.

Is there anything compelling in TTN6 to make the upgrade worthwhile. At the moment 5 does what I need.

Nothing major except (as you say) possibly more up-to-date maps.

Check that TTN6 is supported on your device - it doesn't meant it won't work if it's not supported but you won't get any help from TomTom with any probs.

FWIW the 660 maps (which are available to run under TTN5) are probably the best available for UK on a PDA. The 675 maps are reported as being less accurate (but newer?).

Hi Phil,

Ta for that. I've just bought an eBay 2410 iPaq, which should run TTN6.

The Navigator was all very well, but the PDA is a bit basic.
