I've only used TomTom navigator and was thinking about moving up to TomTom one. But is the Nuvi 250 good as it seems like a good price to me.
I can't seem to find a PGPSW review of the 250. How does it differ from the 350 & other nuvis please?
Does it have a choice of voices like Tomtom? Particularly can you have an English accent or are you stuck with am American?
Sorry if the answers to these questions seem obvious but, as I said, i have no experience of anything other than Tomtom.
Thanks _________________ TT Go Essential |

Looking over here Garmin highlight the main differences between 250 and 350 as being shorter battery life (5hrs on the 250, 8 on 350), 250 has no TTS, no Mp3 player, no headphone jack, no FM Traffic. _________________ Garmin i3 gone (sold on eBay)

Yes - it has choice of voices and the English one isn't too bad. _________________ Phil |

I bought one from Amazon last week when they were £115. I'm very happy with it so far, it's my first Car GPS though so I've nothing to compare it with really. However for the price I couldn't really find anything better, the Tom Tom One was £15 more with just UK maps.
For an online review and lots of other info have a look at http://www.sciuridae.co.uk/garmin_sat_nav.htm |
