Blue tooth problem

Hi, I have just purchased a garmin 760 sat nav, but i cannot seem to get blue tooth matched up with my nokia 6230i.

I got it paired up for a few minutes a couple of days ago, but not been able to get it working again since.

I hope somebody can help me

I have a 660 and 6230 paired OK - working for over 1 year now without any probs.

I would suggest you delete the pairing from both units and start again.

Set your phone into 'seen by all' mode then on the 760 make a new BT connection.

Follow all the on-screen instructions and it should be OK.

Does your 6230i have problems with other BT devices? Especially hands-free kits?

You may want to go onto the Nokia site and download the latest firmware for the 6230i.

If it keeps dropping the connection after this - I would take the 760 back to the shop for a replacement.

Thanks for your help.

I deleted them as you said, and it does pair up now,

But i dont think I will be able to use it though because the speaker on the garmin seems awful.

But anyway thanks again.
