i just purchased from the shop seems to have come without the traffic antenna - can i contact TomTom re this or do i have to bring the entire content back to the shop?

* i have downloaded the updates too.

Did you buy the TomTom 720 or the TomTom 720T - the latter would come with the antenna in the box the former would not.

Only the 720T comes with an antenna.

If that is what you paid for then take it back.

TT sell the RDS Antenna, for the basic 720, for £50.

Mate you indeed are dead right my mistake, i misread the "items that should be in the box" list.

Whilst i'm at it how do i obtain a carrying case for the 720?

You should try places like Halfords, Currys, Comet etc. if you want one there and then. Otherwise you could order it from TT or Amizon etc. Wink

For traffic I would seriously consider using the plus services via GPRS. I use an old phone with a pay as you go SIM and it does not use much credit to be honest. And it's more reliable than the TMC aerial in the UK.

I also can use an iPod cable at the same time as traffic - something you cannot do with the aerial because it uses the same socket as the iPod adapter.
