Am I missing something?
I am trying to install the Speed Camera Database on my Garmin Nuvi 370 using POILoader. I tried to use Ash’s Camera Manager v2.5, this seems to work as described in the forum, the POI’s seem to load onto the device, but I can’t see them.
When I test the Nuvi by driving past a speed camera it is not on my map, no warning, no icon, nothing. I have scrolled around the map looking for other cameras that I know of and there is no icon there either. I can see icons for other POI’s that I have loaded eg Aldi, Tesco etc. but not the cameras.
I then downloaded the database manually and installed it using POILoader, the same thing happened, I can’t see the cameras. Which would be the most appropriate version to use, I have tried the POILoader / Speed Zoned Complete.
I have the Garmin Safety Cameras unticked and the Custom POIS ticked and I have Audio Notification single tone ticked.
Help!

Is there an option to turn Proximity Alerts on and off?
Also what distances did you use with Ash10 software? |

I have gone to Settings, Proximity Points, Alerts, change, and enabled Custom Pois and disabled Garmin Safety Cameras
I used the default distances with Ash10, in fact I used all the default settings

It's set to express.
I have just sussed out what's wrong. I had left my SD card in the unit every time I uploaded the pois. In POILoader I selected the Garmin unit and not the SDcard but the data seems to have ended up on the card. On startup I got a message asking if I would like the new dada on the card installed to the unit, I clicked yes. This did not work.
I have just tried POILoader again without the card in and the cameras have been installed to the GPS, I can now see the icons for the cameras. Problem solved. I don't know if this has been highlighted before but perhaps a note in the instructions that you must remove the card before loading pois on the Nuvi 370.
Thanks for your help in trying to solve this one
Regards
