Is it possible to put a map of Florida on my Nuvi250 for when i go on holiday and where would i get the maps from if its possible

Yes of course, You will need to buy the Garmin maps. They are not available on a state by state basis but you can buy the US maps, for example see here. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Try eBay for used or new MetroGuide.
Used SD card £19!

Depending on when you're travelling and how long you'll be (t)here, the exchange rate might make it worth waiting until you get to FL to order the maps from Amazon.com in the US. Or order it in EU from the US site and have it shipped to your hotel... |

Last time I was in Florida (2 years ago), the car hire company was offering the Garmin i2 or i3 to hire with the car. I think it worked out at about £60 -£70 for the 2 weeks. This price is a total guess from memory, but I remember thinking at the time what a rip off. This was at Sanford Airport and thought I just mention it as you may be able to find out from your car hire company befroe you leave, as to the price etc. |
