I must be stupid, but I just cannot get custom poi's downloaded onto my nuvi 200.
I have done everthing slowly, step by step, choosing csv format, downloading just one subcategory to start with, using the 'show link' box, and extracting them (using izarc) to a specified folder. I can see (and load) the bmp and csv file in the chosen directory, but when I ask POILoader to upload the files from the same directory I keep getting 'no data files found in this directory' error message. The csv file type is listed as 'microsoft office excel comma separated values file'.
What am I doing wrong, please? |

You are following the instructions HERE aren't you?
I know the Link is for cameras, but they are all done the same way. _________________ Richard

Yes, exactly those steps. And I can open the csv file to check the format is correct. |

Cracked it
I was putting the POI's in a folder on a network drive and POILoader didn't like it. I moved the folder to my hard drive and it worked. Now why would a network drive not work? |
