Streetpiolet i3 - Map update issues!

Hello!

I've been lurking on this site for a few years now... not sure if i've posted before! But i now have an issue i hope someone might be able to help with.

I've been trying to find out how much the update of the maps will be (currently v8) and i have the dvd in my hand for the v9 update. Ive been onto the garmin site and onto the unlock page, which already has the v8 map code unlocked but no where can i see where to unlock the map update for the v9.

I've been onto 'http://www8.garmin.com/unlock/update.jsp' and entered in my S/N for my i3 and it just says searching for updates and does nothing

I'm lost! Can anyone point out where i'm going wrong? I was half thinking of getting a new sat nav, maybe a nuvi W200 but after these issues with the map upde im having second thoughts and thinking of a sony one ive seen

The reason the v9 update doesn't appear is because it has been withdrawn as the v10 (2008) are now out. No update options are avalible until Feb - March so you'll have to wait until then.
