Garmin Foretrex 101

Hi,

Im looking for a little help, I have recently inhereted a Garmin Foretrex 101 GPS. I also have Memory Map Software, 2003. Does any one know if I can use this Software on my GPS? I want to use it for walking (munros etc). So am hoping that I can plot a route in memory map and upload it to my GPS.

I know I would need to buy a suitable cable for this, but like I say I don't know if it'll work?

The 101 does not have pc connection capability. If you wanted to upload waypoints then you'd have to input them manually and then manually navigate from one to the next ... and the next ... and the next .....

Also I believe the 101 waypoints are only lat/long, not OS refs, so not much use with an OS map directly.
