Check that the card isn't write protected. If you have a separate cardreader try this instead - it's a lot faster.
Failing that eject and re-seat the card. _________________ Phil |

First make sure hidden folders are not ticked (see other threads on this - search for rx5935)
Using Activesync check the filepath...
My Windows Mobile-based device ... Ipaq file store ... IPAQ GPS ... Western_Europe
Then drag and drop the files in there.

For Vista there's a different program called Windows Mobile Device Centre.
In both cases if they are installed they should open a communications window on the PC screen.
Why not re-install it anyway _________________ Richard

Still sound like a protection mechanism. Something must be write protected.
Can you copy ANY file to the folder?
Can you copy a camera file to any other location on the device?
Using the Mobile Device on your PC with the iPaq attached - right click on any of the camera files - select Properties... Although they are greyed out you can see the attributes for the file.
Just a last (slightly off-the-wall) thought. Do you have to delete the existing files before you can 'replace' them? I know this isn't usual for these sorts of devices.... _________________ Phil |

It sounds as though you are trying to copy the files from an open ZIP file.
Copy the files from the zip folder to your desktop (or My Documents) and then drag and drop them from there to your PPC. |
