Is anyone else having problems importing POI into Tom Tom Nav 6?
I've just upgraded my TomTom to Nav6 and wanted to import the hundreds of useful POI's Ive saved over the years while using NAV5. It looks as if they are all where they should be (in the storage card of the device - in the Great Britain map folder - same as for NAV5), but it wont let me view or even enable them via the "Manage POI". It just doesnt "see" them.
Any ideas...

If you use Explorer to 'see' what's on the card, how many ov2 file extensions do you have in the Map Folder?
In Explorer | Tools | Folder Options have you un-ticked Hide extensions for known file types? _________________ Richard

I have just upgraded my Tom Tom Go 300 to the latest software (7. something) and am experiencing the same problem. No sign of my POIs! I have tried using explorer to copy them into the new map folder and they are all there, but Tom Tom cannot "see" them, as you say. When I go in to "Manage POIs" half of the icons are greyed out too. Nightmare! Any solutions anyone? |
