I have downloaded Oldboys v6.525 update as this was the last time i was getting a hands-free connection. How do you install it, do you remove the 5 folders with the same name as the ones in Oldboys update and then install Oldboys files to replace them(at the root of my TTGo710).
Also from the 5 folders in the download i only have 4 of them, I dont have the system folder but i have the other 4, do you think this could cause my hands-free not to work. I have backed-up so at least i can go back to that if needed. _________________ NEW Tomtom GO 500 (hope it is good)

V7.xxx software doesn't use the system File. All previous versions did.
The 5 Files in the download are pasted in to the Root of the Unit using Explorer. Just reply Yes when asked if you want to Overwrite.
It will re-flash the ROM before re-booting. _________________ Richard

I copied and pasted the 5 files into the root of my TT and clicked on yes to overwriting the files and when i disconnect my device and it re-bootes it comes up with no maps found.
Am i doing something wrong or is their another way to get the v6.525 onto my TT _________________ NEW Tomtom GO 500 (hope it is good)

That's because it can't use the 710 Maps.
Did you have a problem with 7.161?
[Edit - I've Uploaded 7.161 to my Upgrades Page If you want to try it] _________________ Richard

Yes i did, the last time i had a hands-free connection was with v6.525. It has never worked with v7.161 and v7.162.
Any other ideas as i dont have anything older than v710 maps as that is what was offered when i bought them. _________________ NEW Tomtom GO 500 (hope it is good)
