Hi,
I don't have experience of either of those devices, but am I right in assuming that the Toshiba is a USB Host (maybe with a special RS232 interface cable), and the Polstar has a serial ("RS232") interface cable?
If so, you probably need a USB-RS232 driver for the adapter/cable (which you may have to obtain), probably using a "Prolific" chip.
If the Polstar is a USB client (i.e it works when plugged into a PC's USB port) then I think you're out of luck because no-one has written suitable drivers for PPCs.
