Tomtom not receiving gps signal

I have a dell axim x50v which is running version 6.030 of tomtom navigator. My problem is that it has stopped receiving the gps signal. My wired receiver is saying it has a signal but it isnt getting through to my device. It has to be plugged into the cig lighter to work and the dell charges so the wire still works...but no signal.

It was fine up to a couple of months ago, so i cant see why its stopped working. Anyone any ideas? Im a bit stuck.

Tap the sat strength meter on the main Nav screen, then tap it again on the next screen presented, this takes you to the GPS Status page.
Top Right is a small yellow/ Blue disk, is this revolving or not? - Mike

Magic! I didnt know that screen was there, was giving up hope on it working again. Messed about with the configuration and it now works!

Glad to hear its working, the method to get to that screen I mentioned is only the same as tapping Change Preferences/ Show GPS Status, either way will produce the same results.
