Haicom 204-s with tom tom 2 problem. please help!

Hi,
I have just bought a dell axim x 3 and tom tom 2 and Haicom 204-s gps bundle from Handtec.com. I have set up everything as it states but when I plug the gps receiver and pda into my car, the red light just flashes forever. It connected for a brief moment once but all it seems to do is just flash and there is no activity.
Please help!

Do you have the same effect when you place the antenna outside of the car?

Hi,
After much testing I have found that it is the car charger lead that plugs into both the dell axim 3 and the gps receiver. The lead doesn't fit the pda properly and keeps moving back and forth, stopping the flow of data.

Is there a better lead that will power both these devices properly?
