Version 7 of Software on Tomtom Classic

Is it possible to load TomTom Classic with version 7 on it?

A lot depends on the Map you have. If you connect to HOME and it says that there is a Software Update to V7.160, then you can use Nav 7, but you won't have all the MapShare facilities.

Today I was able to upgrade my 910 to V7.160 using a 650 Map.

Initial impressions show that there is little gain until the new Maps arrive. A couple of minor menu changes, ... and the battery saving option.

Still not yet... If I've got it right, there are now versions of Navcore 7 for everything except the Classic Go, the Go300 and the Rider. But the one for the 500/700 only came out yesterday, so keep hoping!
