Hi,
I've tried both methods of downloading the POIs.
I've copied the zip contents over to the western europe folder.
Home shows the downloads on the device on the explore screen, however, when on the enable POI screen on the device, they are nowhere to be seen.
Why is this?
Neil

I've read other posts where it's recommended you don't use Home, so try copy and paste the files directly to the map folder you are using. |

Thats what I did. I merely remarked that the POIs appeared in the Home explore screen. |

The only categories in the unit are the built-in 910 poi's and the latest complete zoned pocketgps cameras. |

Have you tried a Reset? It might work. _________________ Richard

*hides head in embarrassment*
I double-checked what Home said was installed, and realised I also had the Tomtom specific cameras loaded for the *whole* of Europe (in addition to the PGPS cameras), not just the UK. I've removed all the other European cameras and the PGPS POIs popped into action.
Thanks for all your suggestions.

You're not the first, and I doubt whether you'll be the last. _________________ Richard

So to summarise....
Count the number of .ov2 files in your map folder, using Windows Explorer. IGNORE anything 'Home' tells you.
More than 100 .ov2 files = missing POIs. |
