|
|
In a surprise move the Automobile Associateion have ceased support and supply of their AA Navigator and AA Traffic products which included the Speedcare camera database.
It is not clear yet what has caused this surprise turn around, but Teamwarrior to whom the AA subcontracted the sale and support of the AA Navigator products appear to have fallen victim to financial difficulties and when we checked their telephone rings unanswered and their website does not respond.
Some brief contact information can be found here. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I am not surprised,I was lucky enough to win an AA navigater at your Basingstoke Event and found it was slow and not user friendly.I repaced the programme with Tom Tom 5 and find the hardware is excellent and reliable. The only problem I have is I lost the stylus and am unable to find a replacement have tried My Guide the hardware manufacturer but they do not reply to e-mails re PDA's _________________ TTXL IQ Routes |

Have you tried eBay?
You can get a stylus for all kinds of things, so even if you can't find an exact match, you might be able to find something similar _________________ Andy

Hi, If you send the details and proof of of subscription paid to this email address, custserv@teamwarrior.com you should be able to get a refund for the remaining time left on your subscription to the speed camera updates how ever the speed camera database will not be updated although it is still operational. The cheque usually takes about 2 weeks I received my full 3 years refund all you have to do is ask. |

I saw that someone is running tomtom on their myguide typhoon. Any advice on how to do that would be appreciated. I did try to unload AA navigator and load tomtom but could not get it to work
And will the traffic module work with tomtom?
Many thanks |

i got mine running route 66 its not a bad program
tryed TomTom NAVIGATOR 6 but i didnt find it any good (but thats my opinon )
i havent got the tmc to work on any thing else yet but route 66 has got a good cam data base and it puts a big speed limit on the screen if you are over speed , happy navigating .ps its what the RAC use |

I removed the above URL for reasons that it linked to an site that hosts illegal software downloads which is against the forum rules.
Route 66 is a very capable application but should be purchased as should any GPS related mapping application. maps - Mike |
