There are times when I don't want my TTG 520 to navigate for me. I just want it to tell me about safety cameras etc. Problem is, I don't seem to be able to stop it navigating to somewhere and just give me a picture of the road. I had the same problem with my 300 too. Am I missing something? _________________ Bazzza

Thanks Oldboy, I knew it would be something simple. Even more simple than me. _________________ Bazzza

This is frustrating. I have done it before but have just spent 20 minutes looking for "clear route". Help please.
Also, how do I find the version of my 520? _________________ Bazzza

Page three of the main menu, if you haven't got a custom menu.
It won't be there though if you have chosen to "Hide all menu options" in Change preferences". (you'll know if you have - you only get TWO main menu pages instead of three).
Find all the version info by tapping the signal bars on the main navigation screen then tapping the small box with the software version number on the next screen.
Alternatively, the on-screen "virtual" TomTom in Home still has a "Show Version" icon as they haven't updated the menus! |

Look for the option to enable 'full' menu or something similar. Clear Route is one of the options hidden when 'simple' menus are selected. _________________ Darren Griffin |
