RDS Receiver

Sorry have had a look through the forum and havent been able to find any information to help me.

I have just bought a TomTom one V3 and I am thinking about getting a RDS reciver for the trafic reports. Is there a certain model I need to use with the V3 or can I use any.
The cheapest one I have found is £30 from Amazon but not sure if it is the right one.

I suppose the other question is does anyone know if you can get one cheaper or is there a alternative solution to get Traffic reports for cheaper??

Welcome to the forum, there is only one type of RDS-TMC that can work with a TomTom device, there is only one specific model of receiver that actually works in the UK currently on sale will not work too well in this country.

You could always buy it then exchange it for the new one once TomTom make them available, there is some information on the new receiver in This Thread. The new receiver has the part number 4V00.013 anything other than that number and reception will be problematic in the UK - Mike
