I have recently pruchased a T3 and have been looking at getting it setup for sat nav. I am aware of a new Kirrio hardware/software package with bluetooth and voice, but does anyone else have any suggestions or experience with other makes or manufacturers compatible with the T3? Typically around the 300-400 UKP price range to give door to door functionality. |

Thanks. I have checked out Mapopolis following your post. It seems the navigation software is very quick, but it does seem to be let down with a "ZX Spectrum" map interface, which was a bit of a shame. Anyone have any other suggestions with UK maps? |

Emtac have just released a product called EuroNavigator. Hopefully we will be getting a review copy of this in soon. This is an option you could look at. _________________ Mike Barrett |

The Euro-Navigator is basically Digi-Map from Hekosoft. It's a fairly good software, but rather expensive. Support leaves some to wish for, as does the forums, but the software works mostly very good, and handles long-haul routing much better than Mapopolis.
For Mapopolis, support is awesome, and Lamar pops into the Mapopolis thread here every now and then to answer questions. And I am pretty confident that development is progressing at Mapopolis to keep up with the forthcoming competition. Navman and TomTom will release their packages later this spring, and by then we will see true competition.
I use both Digi-Map and Mapopolis. Digi-Map for long haul routing and Mapopolis for short haul. That's because Mapopolis works faster.
