Nokia N95 - Maps software

Can anyone advise on problem with Nokia N95 runing built in Maps software.
My Problem is it works in the car if I run it on mobile internet link - very expensive. It will start up with internet turned off but it is unable to plot a route running on the built in GPS receiver. I always get a route not found error. I have other family members and work colleagues with this phone/software and none of us can get it working. Crying or Very sad

Please help if you know of a fix

Sounds like the maps aren't downloaded onto your memory card. Use the maploader software to select your country and download to your card.

The N95 doesn't support Routing with Voice Guidence unless you pay a subscription. Contact you mobile provider for details. Also maps aren't installed out-of-the-box.
The maps are available from Nokia but will need to be installed on the phone.

If anyone is considering this phone or the Nokia 6110 Navigator for the GPS feature, go the 6110. Maps are preinstalled. Routing and voice directions are free to use. The inbuilt GPSr also works better.
