Smallest/neatest IPAQ 1940 hardwire mount?

I currently used a 3970 with Navman 3450 and want to "downsize".

I now have the Fortuna clip on bluetooth GPS and want to use it with my IPAQ 1940.

Does anyone know what the thinnest/neatest active cradle that can be hard wired is?

or should I just get the Brodit one to replace the existing Brodit 3970 mount?

Brodit & Carcomm are the only major players producing quality cradles. Carcomm don't manufacture a 1940 mount so you don't have much choice

I'd go with the Brodit, I have their 2210 Active Mount and it's a superbly made cradle and looks great.

TomTom makes an active mount for the 1900 series. It's well made, but I had some problems getting my Ipaq to seat properly. It took some wiggling but I got it. What's nice about the TomTom mount is the number of accessories you get with it - suction cup, goose neck, vent clip, swivel mount as well as a whole lot of cables for cigar lighter and hard-wiring. Highly recommended once you get the ipaq to click.
