Tomtom one Version?

I ordered a tomtom from additionsdirect using a couple of vouchercodes on Hotukdeals according to the additons direct site they are Tomtom one v2 units. (ended up paying £125 for the uk+ireland one)

when i booted it up and went over to the about screen i noticed the following

Tomtom ONEv4

App 6.560
Map uk& ireland v675.1409
Gps v1.21 boot 5.05

(they counted the new one as v2 although tomtom actally called the new edition v3 )

Mines also missing the SIRF logo from the bottom

However the uk&ireland map came on an SD card and i've not plugged it into the PC yet to find out if it does have internal memory (waiting to download latest TT home software)


Unforutantly tomtom plus is down so i can't download the latest home software to find out what it sees it as.

So could i have lucked out and actally got one of the newer V3/V4 units?

That's a bargain price ok whichever model it is. If you look at THIS thread 'Rusty' has posted some pics of the 2 versions and shows that the latest one does not have an SD slot.
