|
|
What is the difference between the "_pmobile" and the "_sc" databases?
Also, I have downloaded and installed on the PDA (iPAQ Hx4700) the icons for the 2 different types of speed cams. One of the icons (the one for pmobile) loads fine, but when I select the special icon for the _sc database, the icon is available under "Edit Group". However, when I select it and save, there is no icon shown. It lets me use another icon from the default list, but not the specific icon for the database, which I installed.
Any help gratefully received!

From the download page -
Quote: | What are the pMobile files?
The pMobile files were added as an extra set of warnings so that you could be aware of places that may have a mobile camera in place. They are sites that have been submitted but not yet been added to the main database They have not been checked for accuracy, nor have they been visited by any verifiers for the feasibility. It would be of benefit if you could report, via the submissions page, whether you have seen the site in use or any other information that may help verify or remove the pending site. |

Thx, Paul.
I have now found this information and apologies for asking without searching properly - I appreciate how frustrating this can be for mods, .
Any idea about the icon problem?
