|
|
I'm using tomtom home 1.6 build 20 with my 720. I have it installed on two computers and today (on both) the my go 720 option, which normally allows me to connect to the tomtom on the PC screen via the home app, is greyed out. This is despite have the required .dll installed. Anyone any idea why or what needs to be done to rectify the problem?
TIA,
Pete |

Have you now got a SD card in, where you didn't before. I had a similar problem, and when I took the SD card out, the My720 worked and I could control the 720 remotely.
As I've only got mp3s on the SD card, it didn't worry me too much. Just used a card reader for uploading the mp3s from the hard disc.

Many thanks for your suggestion, that was the cause although I don't understand why. I've had an extra sd card with mp3's before and it worked fine but not today, I'll just have to put this down to one of the strange things that periodically happens with this unit.
As soon as I took the card out it worked fine. Thanks again. |
