Need a GPS unit plus data logger

I'm in the market for a car GPS unit/data logger but I'm not sure which one to get.

Essentially, I want a GPS unit that can tell me how to get places, but it also needs to be able to log my a) date and time b) position (lat/long), b) speed, every 5 or so seconds while I'm driving

Does anyone know of any GPS units that do data logging? I took a quick look at the TomTom and Navman websites but I can't see any reference to data logging for their GPS units.

I'm in Australia so it will have to be a unit that has Australian maps.
