Hi all, I recently installed the PGPSW speed cameras software on my new navman n20. After installing the software I went out for a drive and the limits were not showing. Can anyone help me please.
Thank you. |

When you say limits do you mean speed limits? The database only shows the locations of speed cameras and not speed limits.
Also many GPS only show the cameras when you are over the posted speed limit.
Can you confirm you passed a camera and you weren't alerted to it? |

Which version of the database have you installed to the Navman device you own?
The speed zoned download offers the best opton for speed limit information and camera type identification - Mike |

Consolidated by Type shows icons which indicate the camera type not speed. Speed Zoned shows icons with the speed on.
I think it would be courtious to go back and read the long explaination Mike took the time to post in your previous thread - link is above - then come back and ask any further questions. |

If you want the speed AND camera type then you will need the speed zoned database, it is upto you whether to install the PMobile POI or not (these are provisional mobile locations that still require verification).
To avoid multiple warnings I would suggest you disable the Navman suppled speed cameras, to do this:
Preferences/ Navigation/ Custom POI Alerts selct the POI entitled "Safety Camera" now de-select the Enable POI, Audio Alert and Visual Alert, now repeat this part for the POI's named "Safety Camer (avg)" and "Saftey Camera (mob)" - Mike |
