I have Tom Tom 3 and have in the past downloaded checkpoint version3.2. Pleas can someone provide me with step by step simple instructions on how I update it. |

I thought checkpoint 3.2 is the latest version so there is no upgrade _________________ Asus Zenfone 2 twin sim, Garmin Zumo 550, 660 and pocketgps speed camera database
I keep on learning but they invent new things faster ,How do I keep up ? |

Download our Safety Camera .zip file from here and extract the contents to a folder.
Open this folder and copy the .ov2 and .bmp files from the root (ignore the speed zoned folder) to the map folder (e.g. Great_Britain_Map) on your storage card.
You can then configure ChckPOInt to monitor these POI's.

Thanks Darren. That was a great help. Am I right in thinking that I can add any POI's by this method ie. Download and copy to the map on the SD card? |

Absolutely, a POI File consists of the .ov2 file (the location data, it's a simple text file) and its corresponding Icon, the .bmp file. You can downlaod many more POIs from our Points of Interest pages (see left sidebar) and copy to your storage card using this process.
You may need a soft reset before they appear in TomTom's POI Preferences. _________________ Darren Griffin |
