right i, i signed up last week as a member and paid by paypal, but it said it may take upto 8 days to register or something

how do i know when i'm registered as a member,
also!
once im registered as a member etc, how do i go about downloading and installing speed camera updates onto a tomtom one, version 2?

im new to all of this and would appreciate the help

Easiest way to know that your subscription has gone through, seems to be when that first link starts working!

If you've paid with an up to date credit card, it should be pretty instant. The delays start when you pay by echeque, which you can do deliberately, or can happen without you realising if your credit card details are wrong or have lapsed.

Another way to find out if your membership has gone through is to click on the 'forums' link at the top of this page and if you can then see the second subheading for forum groups as 'Pocketgpsworld.com Subscribers' then you must be a subscriber. This heading is invisible to non-subscribers as I found out the other day when a link someone sent me didn't work.

Also look in the Members Area on the left of the Page.

It will say 'your subscription expires in x days' when your subscription has gone through.
