Hi all,

Very pleased with my BT Fortuna Clip on which I am connecting to an iPAQ 2210 and using TomTom GPS driver v2.08. I am able to connect OK to Memory Map and Winfast Navigator.

My problems arise in TTN2. Most of the time it works fine. With increasing frequency however the GPS location seems to lock up. This is however only when you are 'on' a green arrow on the road (is this a turn?). It happened about 5 times yesterday and twice today. To unfreeze it I switch to the GPS status screen and untick the box. Wait a couple of seconds and then recheck the box and it picks up the GPS location again. This is not a major problem if you are holding it in your hand but is an utter pain if you are driving.

I would have assumed it was losing the BT signal but the fact it ONLY (7/7 times) happens on a turn suggests it's more of a TTN2 error.

has anyone experienced this??

Matt

Have you put the voice files on your memory card? If so, uninstall them and reinstall them in main memory. The Navigator program should be in main memory too.

You're up late Wink

Had the program in main memory but not the sound files as I thought they took up a bit too much space in memory.

I'll give it a try. Thanks.
