not sure if the answer to this might be similar to the one for "Topic: Haicom 202e usb - ipaq conversion help" but I wondered if it was OK to make a lead up to convert a Haicom 203e with a ps/2 plug to USB, and if so can anyone tell me which of the centre USB connections the Tx and Rx connections go to. |

NO.
Not just PS2/USB plug. You also need a USB>Serial converter in between. _________________ Pc-Mobile

You did not get it.
It will not work.
It is not just the connector physically.
Save yourself time and find another solution. _________________ Pc-Mobile

The HI-203E is a serial GPS with a PS/2 connector. Haicom sell a USB cable for it - see here. You can't just connect a USB plug (the cable contains a 'lump' which contains a USB to serial chip).
You use HI-202E drivers with this cable.

exactly, there has to be a kind of signal convertor in between, so it will convert serial signal to usb signal. |
