Help, how do I stop tomtom camera alerts?

Hi, I have just bought a tomtom 910 and it has the tomtom camera alerts on it. How do I stop them?

When I click on Tomtom PLUS services and then safety camera warnings, it only has update now in colour and the other lcons grey. Do I need to set up a wireless data connection first before the other buttons become available?
