I kept getting error messages when trying to synchronise my laptop and PPC (Acer N50) which mentioned a network and suggested that I reboot my PC or the Acer or both. Until a few days ago synchronisation was OK and I'm nor aware of any changes made.
I decided to reinstall ActiveSynch so deleted it through Control Panel and rebooted before attempting to reinstall.
Then I ran the install from the CD and absolutely nothing happened.
Anyone got any ideas? _________________ --------------------------------

Download the latest version from the MicroSoft web site and try installing that, I think the latest is 4,5 - Mike |

Hi Mike
Just to update you. Everything now working smoothly.
It turned out that Outlook 2003 needed to be repaired.
Things do seem quicker now with ActiveSync updated as well.
Thanks for your help. _________________ --------------------------------
