Maximum POIs allowed

Hi,
I'm running tomtom navigator 5.021 on an mda vario. I was just wondering if there was a maximum amount of POI categories allowed, I have about 40 now and no more are showing up from the map folder. I'm pretty certain I had more than this from version 5.
If that is about the limit, is there anyway I can get a lot more shown up somehow, I read about merging categores into one but I'm not certain of how to achieve this.

There is a limit of 39 with V5. This is increased to 100 with V6.

You can use POIEdit to combine categories. But you will need to be able to indentify the combined entries as they will then have the same BMP.
