Hi all
If I have to reinstall Windows on my computer I'm a bit concerned about what will happen to my Home account. I realise that if I login to Tomtom it will work OK but what about stuff that I've downloaded in the past.
The dowloaded stuff is in My documents, if I back that up and then point Home to the restored folder will it work OK. I'd imagine it would but I'd like to hear from someone who has done it. Thanks |

Yes it will work, if you are cleaning out the PC I would burn the TomTom Home folders (Downloads, Backups etc) to a DVD, once the PC is up and running again simply copy the files from the DVD to where they should be on the PC's hard drive - Mike |

As long as the required data is backed up and can be restored to the correct place, HOME will have no trouble handling it.
My Documents is the Default Location for Backups, Downloads, etc. so there should be no need to point HOME in any direction. _________________ Richard
