Speed cameras to TT1 - Winrar file?

Just recently put Winrar on my PC and the latest Speed camera download shows as a Winrar file in my TomTom folder.

Daft question I'm sure but.............do I just R click and choose "Open", then Copy and paste files that show to GB map.................

OR .........

..........do I R Click and chose "Extract", then copy and paste file to GB map????

Done it many times before with Zip file but don't want to mess it up now.

you need to extract the files just as you would with winzip winrar is just another program that can open .zip files and tends to 'take over' control of zips when you install it. there'll have been an option when you installed it as to which files to associate with winrar.

you still have a zip file, but the icon is different as it is set to open with winrar instead.
