Stuck Garmin i3 after reset

I have have done a hard reset on my Garmin i3, and get the Select language screen up. Have chosen English and then it just freezes. Left it for more than an hour....

Any ideas?

Take the batteries out and try again.

Or as already said try another reset.

Tried both of these. Nothing works....

How old is the unit?

You could take it back to the shop and say it's faulty and you'd like a replacement.

Otherwise, phone Garmin. Their Customer Support may be able to suggest something you can try, or they may say send it in for free repair or replacement. They're usually very helpful.

Had a simular problem whilst trying to install V9 maps. This worked for me. Use WebUpdater to reinstall firmware (if you have not got WebUpdater it can be downloaded from the Garmin website)
Then do a hard reset.
Mine was ok after that!
